XP home not booting after aborted windows update

I was installing some windows automatic updates, and had
to leave in a hurry, so i quit the installation from the
task manager. Now when i try to boot up my computer, it
starts booting windows, gets to a certain point, and then
reboots itself before windows even loads. This process
just keeps cycling over and over. Any help? Thanks.

that's what everyone's been saying to do, but it still
doesnt work...i reinstalled windows in a folder
called "windows2" cause i can't lose the "my documents"
folder, and i'm trying to boot from that new windows
install, but the system starts to load the GUI portion of
the install, but then reboots on its own at the same
point. :-/
