XP Home - Missing "Use printer online/offline"

I have a newly re-installed Windows XP machine with a network printer.
The printer shows up in Printers and Faxes, but when I right-click on
the printer the context menu does not show "Use printer online/
offline".

Anybody know how to repair this?

If this is a connection to a printed shared from another machine, the menu
option is not available for connections

Thanks. I will check if that is the case and reinstall as a pure
network if it is.
