I have XP Home and upgraded to XP Professional. Now I want to move my XP Home to another computer but lost the original KEY Code. Can I find that Code on the XP Home CD and how do I read it?

No you cannot. Wouldn't be much good if you could, now would it? Besides you
cannot move Home to another system as you've used it as a QP for Pro - the
licence has been 'assimilated' into the Pro licence (think of each one as
half a licence) and is now considered 'spent'. If you wish to have Home on
another system you must purchase another copy.

Furthermore, if it was OEM, it would have been tied to the system it was
initially installed on forever.

Well what is MS if not Borg? There was a site somewhere that listed the
