A day or 2 ago, I got a message: your password will expire
shortly, do you wish to change it now. It appeared when I
first turned my computer on. I clicked yes then cancel
becuase I didnt know quite what it was. Now when I turn
on my computer I get the welcome screen and nothing else
unitl I hit CTR + ALT + DEL then it goes to my desktop.
What can I do to get it back so when I turn my computer on
it goes directly to my desktop ?

Any help would be appreciated
Thanks
Gord

Hi Gord,

Start/run "control userpasswords2", go to the advanced tab. Click the
advanced button, then click on the users. Select your account and
right-click it, choose properties. Put a check in "pssword never expires".
Apply/ok your way out.
