XP freezeup

Just upgraded my pc. When i went to restart it, I had a devil of a time.
Everytime XP would start to load it would freeze up. I'd restart it till I
finally got thru the activation process. It still freezes up before it is
fully loaded. Any ideas on what I need to do?

You haven't told us anything about your computer and what "upgraded my
pc" entailed.

Just a guess, on info provided
If you upgraded certain components eg mobo/cpu you need to run a repair
installation of win and install the new drivers supplied with the new hw
