XP FAX CONSOLE

I have seen plenty of articles and user questions about
how XP Fax Console is not using dialing rules especially
when a calling card is being used...

Any articles on how to fix this are appreciated...
adding a user or administrator to the log on tab as
suggested by MS disables the Fax Console...

Two separate issues, and for one there is no fix.
1. Dialing Rules:
Like all of its predecessors, the Windows XP Fax service will not process
dialing rules unless the phone number to which you are sending the fax is in
"international format." Details on how to use international format to invoke
dialing rules are available here:

2. Calling Cards:

If your Calling card settings are part of the per-user settings, you are out
of luck with Windows XP Fax. The XP Fax Service can only run under the
System account, so per-user settings are not available to it.

Thank you... I the dialing rules are working and made
sure all numbers are in the international format... the
real problem is item 2 calling cards... I guess it is odd
that MS set this up this way. Why allow the option on the
per user screen if it cannot be accessed... Might need to
actually purchase software to support this. Thank you
