The "My Documents" folder is expanded every time
Explorer opens. How do we prevent this? Or >> would
it be possible to setup Explorer to open with "...My
Computer:\C:\" expanded instead?
Thanks, Ken

Hi Ken

Programs>Accessories - right click on the Windows Explorer icon and select
Properties, then type or copy/paste the following into the 'Target:' box:

%systemroot%\EXPLORER.EXE /e,c:

You can also make a Desktop shortcut to WE using the same command.

Many thanks for the prompt response Will, and for the
info. Is there a way to indicate that we want Explorer
to open fully collapsed (no "tree" expanded)?
Best regards,
Ken
