XP Explorer Freezes

I have been experiencing freezing while on the Internet. Crtl+Alt+Del shows
Explorer not responding.

Error signature reads szAppName IEXPLORE.EXE szAppVer: 6.0.2900.2180
szModName : hungapp szModVer : 0.0.0.0. offset : 0000000

Only powering down and then rebooting solves the problem.

I have installed SP2. Is it possible this is the problem. Running PcCillin
also.

Help!

I have the same issue - but when I ctrl alt delete nothing happens, I need to
forcea shut down and restart. This problem never generates an error report.

Error Signature: szAppName: iexplore.exe

I seem to be experiencing the same problem, especially when I am trying to access Club Pogo's website. Everything seems to load properly until I get into the room that I chose to play a game in. Then it will act as if the game is loading, but it freezes up instead & I'll notice a message on the lower left corner of the screen stating that there's an "Error on Page". Then when I right click on it, I find an error signature: szAppName: iexplore.exe szAppVer: 6.0.2900.2180 szModName: hungapp szModVer: 0.0.0.0 offset: 00000000. Now if I could just repair this technicality, I hope that this doesn't pop up any place else that I try to access.

this will fix it

Try reregistering these dlls:
Run each of the following from Start / Run:

regsvr32 Shdocvw.dll
regsvr32 Shell32.dll
regsvr32 Oleaut32.dll
regsvr32 Actxprxy.dll
regsvr32 Mshtml.dll
regsvr32 Urlmon.dll

step by step:

copy: all of the above - click start - click run - type cmd press enter - right click in the black area select paste press enter.

This worked for me. good luck.
