Hello,
this is a problem I've been having with several XP installations on
different machines, I hope someone knows a fix to it:
I do not want XP to play any sounds on any program events, while still being
able to listen to music while working. Therefore, I select the No Sounds
sound scheme in Sounds and Audio Devices under Control panel. This works
fine until after a few reboots. Then, Windows simply forgets this setting
and goes back to the Default scheme. I am logged on as Administrator and
have SP2 with all updates installed. Google didn't bring up any helpful
hints.
Any ideas?
