XP default burning

My Windows default burning is always turned off. How can I permanently
re-enable it?

Hi Tezza,

Do you have a third party burning program installed? Roxio, Nero, etc.? If
so, you need to leave the native program disabled. Otherwise, there will be
conflicts.

To add to Rick's advice if you don't use third party burning software you
can re-enable burning by right clicking your CD Writer icon in the My
Computer window and select properties->Recording Tab.
