XP Crash

Anyone who could provide a fix for this problem would be
greatly appreciated.

I worked on my computer last night with no problems. Woke
up this morning, turned on my computer. This is what I get:

a blue screen

A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down
to prevent damage to your computer.

UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME

it then says that if I have installed any hardware or
software that I should ask for any windows updates I might
need.

Techincal Information:

***STOP: 0X000000ED (0x81F60590,0xC000009C, 0X000000000,
0X00000000)

If you have any success with fixing this problem please e-
mail me directly at (e-mail address removed)

I have not installed any software or hardware so I don't
know why I am getting this error. I cannott get into safe
mode or get windows XP to load.

Please HELP!
