XP can't or won't join the domain

I have two XP Pro machines I'm attempting to get on my domain (I have 6 other
machines on there now - they've been there for months). Everytime I attempt
to get them on the domain (Windows 2000 Server FYI), I get this error msg
(plastics or plastics.local is my domain name). These are two new XP's
(which is why they aren't on the domain yet). Any ideas?:

The following error occurred when DNS was queried for the service location
(SRV) resource record used to locate a domain controller for domain
plastics.local:

The error was: "DNS name does not exist."
(error code 0x0000232B RCODE_NAME_ERROR)

The query was for the SRV record for _ldap._tcp.dc._msdcs.plastics.local

Common causes of this error include the following:

- The DNS SRV record is not registered in DNS.

- One or more of the following zones do not include delegation to its child
zone:

plastics.local
local
.. (the root zone)

Bob - THANK YOU! the 2nd link worked like a charm and finally, no more
headache of getting my computers in the domain! I can't belive I was just
being held up by inputing the Primary DNS Suffix on the client and enabling
NetBIOS over TCP/IP (they were set to the Default). thank you again, you
saved me a lot of time I would have spent the next day.
