XP can not recognize usb hub

Hi!;

I have bought one unit 4 ports usb hub. When I plug in the mini hub to my XP
PC. The XP system prompts me "One of the USB devices attached to this
computer has malfunctioned, and Windows does not recognize it. For assistance
in solving this problem, click this message". However when I plug in the mini
hub that running Windows 2000 Pro. The PC can recognize the mini hub. I have
tried to plug in the mini hub to few other PCs that running XP. However still
facing same problem. So may I know where can I get the generic usb hub driver
for XP version? So any one got the idea?

the generic driver is already part of windows XP. Sounds to me like you
have a non-compliant hub.
