do a clean install from go, load all drivers starting with
chipset,agp,sound,video,lan ect.
then use the file settings and transfer wizard to set things up the way you
like them.
never try to image one disk to another if you can avoid doing so.
your system will love you for it.

Hi All: I have a problem that I have not been able to
figure out. I am replacing 60 mb H.D. with a 120mb.
I have two backups made , one with Microsoft, and one
with BackUp MY PC. And they are stored on a H.D. in a USB
2 Drive. Under stand that I have not lost any data, but
just can not get things to work out on the 120.
I am running Windows XP Pro, When I go through steps of
using MaxBlast 3 which come with the HD, and install
windows, then do my restor all seems normal, but when I
reboot using the new drive the bios loads then windows
starts to load then it starts looping (reboot- windows
screen- reboot- windows screen- and on and on).
I can connect my 60mb back up and all is normal. I have
formated the new drive and have tried both backups with
same results. How can I fix this? Thanks Darell
