XP and Norton System Doctor

Among my many frustrations with Norton involves
System Doctor, which continues to show a red traffic
light in my toolbar, even after performing a "reset"
from the RUN utility as advised by Norton techs.

Has anyone encountered this?

Usually, that brings more trouble and headaches when you discover how
difficult it is to remove them.
 
LOL.. it can do for sure, but persistence usually pays off even if a repair
install is the only way out.. Somebody should write a book, "101 uses of a
Norton CD (other than installing the contents)".. I might even give myself
some time to think about it.
