XP and boot up for games.

My fiancee recently started playing Everquest II on her XP PC. There is so
much stuff runnning on her machine in the background that the CPU is working
overtime and performance is low. Is there a way to set up XP to boot up
for the game with just a minimum of resouces running?

Type msconfig in the run prompt. go to startup tab , unselect excess "stuff
". JJ
