XP Accounts and MSN 8 Accounts

I have 3 user accounts on my XP. I also have 3 user
accounts on my MSN 8. If I let all users access thru my
XP sign in everything is fine. When I try to set each
member up for their own MSN acces, it wants to treat them
as new MSN signups and chargable. How do I give other XP
members account access to MSN without being charged for
setup?

The accounts must first be created by the "master" account
owner at MSN when logged in using the MSN-8 browser. You
must set up the name, E-mail addresses, passwords, etc.
first. This is done by signing in to the primary MSN-8
account. Click on "Help & Settings" in the MSN-8 toolbar.
Then click on "Members Accounts & Billing". The click
on "Add Member Accounts". Create all the accounts you
need. Take note of the email address and name used. Then
log off of MSN.

If any of the accounts in question are limited users (such
as a child), change their account to administrator (just
temporarily so you can get them set up). Then run MSN-8 in
each XP account. Instead of saying it's a new account,
check the box that you already have an msn.com account.
Enter in the name/e-mail address already created. Type in
the password already created. It will check for the
account at MSN-8. Once all accounts are setup, return to
your administrator account and reset XP accounts back to
limited (if needed).

It's best to not to use automatic sign-on when MSN-8 is
setup on multiple accounts on a single computer.

We have a "byop" plan with cable broadband - so I don't
know how to handle the connection if MSN is your actual
provider - I just check the box that we already have a
provider and it uses our existing internet settings, but I
imagine if your "master" account is already set up,
using "already have a provider" might work - but I don't
know for sure. Maybe someone else knows.
