mourning

just wondering if one of you fine folks could help
this old pc dummy out.

i got lop.com on my pc (malware). i got the trial
version of a program called xoftspy and it found it , but
will not remove untill i purchase.

my question is , is this a good program or are there
something else better , or are there some other way to
get lop.com off my pc?

help me out if you can

Spybot will remove it for you and it is free. While you are at it, download
and run Ad-Aware, CW Shredder and HijackThis as well.

sure do appreciate your response.

i run spybot and ad-aware every mourning and they do
not find the lop,com , didnt even know i had it until i
ran that xoftspy this mourning.

i also have cw shredder , but this dumb old man is
scared to use it (dont understand)

are there anyway i could do something to spybot or ad-
aware to get it to find lop.com.

Hi Larry,

First, you are most welcome. Secondly, the cleaners mentioned do remove
lop. Thirdly, you failed to mention if you have run Hijack This! (most
important).

Other than that, make sure each has been updated before running. And when
running them, make sure that any and all Internet Explorer and Outlook
Express, etc windows are closed. In other words, all of them. Meaning
there should be nothing listed in your taskbar other than the cleaner
running, period.

findings of that program is correct:
