mourning

sure hate to bother you fine folks with this minor
problem , but here gos.

sometimes when i restart or bootup my pc , the desktop
icons move around to differant places.

are there something i am doing wrong.

Hi Larry,

R-click the desktop and choose "Arrange Icons By" click on "Align to grid".
That should put a check mark there. Move the icons where you want them and
they should stay there.

It could be that you have set your desktop icons to "auto
arrange". It could be sorting itself by time, modified,
size, etc.

To turn this off:

"Right click" anywhere on the open Desktop
Choose "Arrange icons by"
De-select "Auto arrange"
