on floppy from one computer with win 98 on a computer
with win xp so that i can print them out

Does your XP computer have Excel installed on it, or some
compatible spreadsheet program?

If not, you can use the free Excel viewer at
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...49-91DA-4110-8595-4A960D3E1C7C&displaylang=EN
This will let you view, but not create or modify Excel files.
