XD H Camera memory card.

I use a Olympus c-350 zoom camera and I have always used an Olympus
memory card which I inseret in to my Card Reader in my front USB port.

two days ago, I bought a new card but this time it was an H xd which I
believe is faster transferring pics, on advice of salesman who knew my
camera(online).

I took my first pics, fit it into reader and a box says "insert disk in
drive E".

I must say...

My ports work as I have tried another memory pencil stick.
I have re-installed the driver from Card Reader cd.
All pics can be viewd on camera
I admit, the card reader was bought and originally installed when I had
w98 and now I have XP Home but I have used it dozens of times on my XP.

I have done a reformat so am wondering that if its been back to factory
settings, perhaps it does not recognise w98?

Any advice would help.

Did you reformat on the PC or on the Olympus?
