Wrong Language In Some Menus

I was working on a friend's computer today and he has a weird problem. In
Internet Explorer 6 sp1 on Windows Xp Home sp1, whenever you right-click a
page or graphic, the menu is in a different language. All of the toolbars,
Web pages, and Internet Options however are in English. Also when you go to
Help>About, it's in a different language. There are no language packs
installed and everything else on the computer displays in English; it's only
a problem in Internet Explorer. Someone have any ideas why?

You have installed some programs that were not in the language of your
operating system.
Badly written programs do not protect against that.

If some were from MS then your regional settings or language settings were
not correct when you downloaded some updates.

Only option is to reinstall windows at the same location, you will need all
the updates.

Your best bet is possibly to get the free up date cd that lists all updates
to Feb 04.
