WRONG IE ICON ON START MENU!

Hi everyone, i'm new here, but does any of you know how to get your IE icon
back on the start menu, because it's the wrong icon, it showing a creative
manager icon, instead of the IE icon itself, humm hard to explain. wish i
could post a screen shot on here.

Not an expertbut will try to help firt of all go to your start menu and
right click on the icon you don't want and select remove from list , then
after that right click on your task bar and selct properties then the tab on
the top says start menu click it click on customize then at the bottom says
show on start menu right next to internet select the drop down list and
select IE and then ok see if that helps

Hello Brian,
You could try Right Clicking the current IE icon, choose Properties and on
the Shortcut tab click "Change Icon". On my comp, I have 23 icons to choose
from including theoriginal.
