Is There A Utility That Will Re-install Icons On Start Menue?

Hello,

I have a little utility that restores icons to "My Favorites", but all the
icons on my start menu are now just the generic folders.

Is there a handy little utility that will re-install the proper icons on the
start menu? I've only found one which I thought was going to do the trick,
but I find it pretty much useless. It will find every icon on the computer
(5,000 of them), but it won't do anything with them. It's kind of like a
pretty lame attempt of "look what I can do!" Big deal!!

I know how to replace the proper icons manually, but I don't have a week to
spare every time the icons disappear again.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

1st open display,desktop,customize,web,locate & chk the box "Lock desktop
items",close out.You can R.click each icon,properties,change icon.Or,open
control-panel,folder options,file-types tab,edit the program to icon
properties.

Thanks Ron. I used to have Tweak UI a few years back, but had a computer
crash and eventually forgot about Tweak. I've downloaded it just now and
next time the icons disappear (and they will), I'll give Tweak a try. I
just finished repairing them all manually so I won't use Tweak right now....
but I sure will in the future.
