Hello everyone,
I seem to have run into a problem with a nearly fresh (about 2 weeks
old) Windows XP Pro load. I rebooted my computer today, and all of the
icons on my system seem to be replaced with the 'unknown filetype'
icon. I just ran hijack this and removed the questionable looking
BSOs, and ran AntiVir from UBCD, which came up empty handed.
When I right click -> remove from this list on the start menu, the new
icon list item that appears HAS an icon. Also, program entries on my
start menu have icons.
Here are some screenshots to better explain:

Thanks in advance,
Tom Norris
