Wrong Codec

Hello,
I was trying to import a file into windows movie maker 1 and a message
was displayed that said there is no codec for this file installed on
your computer.
What do I need to install to make the file work its an .mpeg file.

mm, try installing the divx codec pack.

if that doesnt work try googling for an mpeg codec
