write protection on hard drive

i copied files from another hard drive by connecting my hard drive on a
friend'd computer. That led to my hard drive not starting. Connected back to
the friend and then his harddrive fixed mine in a way.
But now when i cut and paste or drag and drop, the files can't open in my
computer. it says access denied or write protected. I can't even deleted any
files i move. Even my old files that i cut and paste/drag and drop.
