WOW EVERYTHING IS SO BIG

Opened AOL this morning and everything was so big, even when maximized it
would not all fit onto my screen. Not only AOL but every web site I opened.
I've been trying to figure out how to reset the size back to normal as I
open many windows at one time and would like to be able to see the edges of
the ones I'm not using on my computer sreen (so I can flip back and forth
very quickly). Please help me!!! This is quite frusterating to say the
least!
Thanks
Brian

Change the screen resolution to a higher one.

Thanks for the quick reply. However, I've tried adjusting the resolution and
this is not the problem. I've seen people adjust their screens/windows in
this manner i.e. slightly vision impaired folks. This is proving to be
arduous.

Is it only on web pages that everything is big? Hold down the Ctrl key and
scroll the mouse wheel. One direction makes everything larger, the other
smaller.

This is a Windows standard, and works in many applications.

Ken, this is true for IE7 but (unless I missed a memo) not for prior versions.

CTRL+Scroll Wheel has always increased the size of the text on a web page
(given a true text on the web page in question) - but in IE7 - it does
everything on the page - yes.

Nope, it worked in prior versions of IE, too. Also Word, Excel, WordPerfect,
and many other programs.

I was not able to verify on ver 6 but had an old version "beta 2" from '04, which is
probably v.6. Did not work there. As soon as I went to a different address I found myself
in V.7, where it worked fine.
