Is there a way of having slanting headings on a worksheet?

When the headings for the columns are too long for the width of the columns
and one wants to have the columns only wide enough to accommodate two/four
numbers, my understanding is that the headings for such columns can be
produced at a slanting (45deg?) angle.

Is it possible or has someone been pulling my leg?

If it is, how can it be done? Thank you.

Select the area and then from the menu
Format / Cell / Alignment (tab) and in orientation slect the angle.

There was a long thread very recently that described *exactly* how to
accomplish this ... in living color.<g>
