works word processor problem

Hello, I'm having problem using word processor. I think
what happened is that I sent a letter to a friend via e-
mail and the letter wasn't properly decoded, so this
caused my data to corrupt. I need to know how I can fix
this problem. Any help will be greatly appriciated.
