Workgroup to a Domain

Hey!

I am switching two XP Pro machines from a workgroup
envrioment to a Domain, (using the new win 2003 server).
i am having great difficulties. Keeps tellin me domain
not found and other wild and wacky crap.

Am i better off reformatting the machine, and starting
from scratch?
 
You need to install active directory on the 2003 server. Have you run a
dcpromo on the server system? Active Directory and DNS must be installed on
your new domain in order to connect workstations to it.
 
Have you configured the DNS settings on the workstation with the IP address
of the domain controller?
