Network Domain/Workgroup

Hi

Have been given a XPP pc which had been used on a office networks domain. I
changed the network from a domain to workgroup, inserted my home networks
name & rebooted.. When I try and log onto that pc it says that the domain is
no longer available and I can get no further.

How can I get this corrected.

Key thing here is to create a local user BEFORE you take the PC out of the
domain.

As it's too late now, you have two options, either ask what the
Administrator password is, or use a password-reset utility.

I use this one:

http://home.eunet.no/pnordahl/ntpasswd/

which is basically a Linux boot-CD with a password editor.
