I have a home office with a workgroup setup. My assistant
has a laptop that she brings to the office and is set up
on the domain by the sys admin. She also works out of my
home office and is set up on my workgroup. The first time
she brought the PC from the office, she was no longer on
the workgroup so I changed her computer name and workgroup
setting back to the home office and she can print and
access my QuickBooks from her laptop. The problem is she
is not able to get to the Internet. Can anyone suggesst
what is wrong or point me to a link to troubleshoot? Any
suggestions will be appreciated.
FYI - I have Road Runner at home the goes through a
router/hub that the PCs and printer are connected to. I
have looked at TCP/IP and it looks ok, and I thought it
has to be DNS.
