Workgroup or Domain Network

I tried to setup a small home network using the XP
networking wizard and the work group thing had absolutly
NO success. I thought XP was supposed to make this sort
of thing easy! Now I want to try setting up a domain type
of network. How do I do this? I own several domain names.
Is this the same thing? I'm fairly new to this networking
thing. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

no, it's not the same. web domain is different than internal network domain.
you need to have a windows server os running to run a domain.
stick with the workgroup and try to work it out.
