work schedule formla's

Help Me!
I'm making a work schedule using this formula =INT((F6-E6)*24) to project
daily time.. This works great for the 8:00am to 5:00 pm shift , calculates 9
hours. I need a formula to project the half hour (IE 7:30am to 5:00pm or
7:00am to 5:30 pm) and give me 10.5 hours. I've also tried the formula
=text(b2-a2,"h:m"). This works for the daily time but can't get a formula to
add up total hours for all seven days of the week. A formula for either of
the problems will be great, though the first would be best.
TIA

Phil,

Just try
=(F6-E6)*24

I used a time format =TIME(H,M,S) where 7a.m. is =TIME
(7,0,0) and 5:30p.m. is =TIME(17,30,0) then the formula
(E6-F6)*24 works for all cases.
