words 2000 templates

Hi all,
I se words 2000 and i created one document template. When
i open the words program, ican't find where my template
are.why?did i save my templates in the wrong directory?
which directory should i save my template so that when i
open my words doc, i can just simply click which template
to attach.

Hi Azwan,

From the Tools menu, select Options and then go to the File Locations tab
and check the path to the User Templates folder. That is where you should
save your templates. Then, when you select New from the File menu, your
template will appear as one of the templates upon which you can base the
document.

Hi,
Thanx for the help...it works..I misplace my templates,
that's why i can't find it just now.

Ordinarily, when you choose to save a document as a template (or save a file
created as a template), Word will default to the folder you have specified
for templates on the File Locations tab.
