WordPad problem

R

Robert Francis

I have a new system that came with Vista Home Premium. Today I used WordPad
for the first time and noticed that several of the buttons and pop-ups are
labelled in an Oriental language (possibly Korean) rather than English. has
anybody else had this problem? Does anybody know how to fix it?

Thanks for any help.

Hi Robert,

This happens if you have the file MFC42LOC.DLL in the C:\Windows\System32 folder. This is a localization file used by various programs, and deleting this file (always backup first) should resolve the problem.
