WordPad Problem

Started having this problem a couple of months ago. We use a program that
uses Wordpad as it's editor. We noticed that when a document it brought up
in Wordpad then we select Print Preview, the buttons at the top that say
Print, Close, etc are all different symbols. Also when you go to close a
document that hasn't been saved yet it pops up a box thats asking you to save
it or not, but it now just says "Document (then a series of suares) ? I
assume these buttons are controlled by a system font. But I'm not sure which
one. Also I have found one common between all the PC's that are doing this.
Its Ricoh installtion software for a CL7200.

I have uninstalled the software numerous times on different PC. No luck. I
have uninstalled WordPad. No luck. I am really lost as of now. Please help

Note: In Windows 2000/XP/Vista the system files are stored in the %windir%\system32 folder.

Wordpad is a system file, and therefore part of Windows File Protection.

Have your windows setup disk handy and go to start/run, to type:

SFC /SCANNOW

Ramesh put up a link for PictureIt. I would guese that the Ricoh installer
was putting in some language dll

couldn't hurt to use a
registry cleaner like eusing.

the uninstalls may have
not been very clean and
the orphaned keys are
likely to be still interferring.

however, this is only a
presumption and the
registry cleaner would not
be a bad idea....
