Word keeps starting with all tracked changes showing

We just upgraded to Word 2007 at work and now anytime you open a document
that ever had tracked changes, it opens with all the changes showing. I know
how to accept all changes, but it's a chore to constantly do this for every
single document. I tried changing the normal template but must not be doing
it right. Can someone walk me through this? I just want documents to open
in "Final", not "Final showing markup."

Thanks!

By default, Word is set to always show markup if it finds any. The purpose
is to prevent you from inadvertently sending a document with markup to
someone else (you may not want people to see your revisions and comments).

If you choose to hide markup, note that this *only* affects your
installation of Word; others will still be able to see it.

To hide markup (for your computer/user account): Click the Office button,
and then click Word Options. In the Trust Center category, click Trust
Center Settings. In the Privacy Options category, clear the "Make hidden
markup visible when opening and saving" option. Click OK twice.
