Word is deleting my text

Hi,

Using word 2003:

While typing, word refuses to automatically start a new page when i get to
the bottom of an old one. It seems to still be taking my info but won't show
it. I can only get to a new page if I use the CTRL+enter option.

Further, when I try to increase font size on a selection on a page, it will
only show me the words that can fit on one page and then it transforms my 2
or 6 page document to a one page document.

What is going on and how can I fix it?

Thanks

Try this to see if it helps: Go to Format > Columns. Select the One Column icon,
even if it's already selected, and click OK.

If that fixes the problem in one document, and if the same problem happens in
all new documents, you'll have to open the Normal template directly (with the
File > Open dialog, navigate to your Templates folder and open Normal.dot) and
repeat the columns selection.
