Word 2003 - Right Margin Truncation - Unchangable

my companyjust upgraded me to office 2003. when i open previous MS Word
docs, the right hand margin, in front of my eyes, will shift to the left.
the ruler will not extend the right margin. result = the document only uses
2/3 of the available page width; both in "view" and in printed versions.
have tried everything to correct; including having IT remove/reinstall Office
2003.

You'd be best off reposting your question to a newsgroup related to Word.

One possible cause is that Word is set to Track Changes and is ready
to display changes. Display the Reviewing toolbar. If the dropdown box
is showing
Final Showing Markup
change it to
Final
.. Otherwise, ask in a Microsoft Word newsgroup: this one's for
Microsoft Access database software.
