Word 2003 doesn't display address book from Outlook

I Have Office 2003 using Windows XP. I use Outlook for my default email and
use word for editing email. When I press the "To:" button to select an email
address I get an error window saying "The address list couldn't be displayed.
The Contacts folder associated with this address list could not be opened; it
may have been moved or deleted, or you do not have permission. For
information on how to remove this folder from the Outlook Address Book, see
Microsoft Office Outlook Help." If you click on contacts in Outlook all my
contact are there, I just can't access them through Word. Any help would be
appreciated.

In Outlook, click Tools>E-mail Accounts>View or change existing directories
or address books>Next. Select the Outlook Address Book and click Change.
Locate the incorrect folder and click Remove Address Book. If that doesn't
help, remove the Outlook Address Book service completely, stop and restart
Outlook, and add the service back in.
