Since installing the last update (614 I think), Microsoft
Antispyware hasn't worked properly. Whenever I go into
any of the options, and click something, I don't get any
writing, nothing! I can't see what's happening, events,
and the active protection options have frozen and are
being incorrectly labled (says their active when their
not, and I can't switch it on, because it doesn't do
anything. Personally (unless someone can convince me
otherwise), Microsoft Antispyware is a waste of space and
resources on my computer (except cause its new, and has
all updates, and is WinXP SP2, and is pretty powerful
compared to the average computer in Australia), pluse I
have a bit to spare
Anyway, can someone help me? Plus
another problem, my 'speech' in Sounds and audio devices,
it won't work. Keeps comming up with an error thing after
a long time, also slows down my computer so much, that I
have no choice but to pysically restart it or turn it
off, cause nothing is responding. The message that comes
up is "The requested task cannot be carried out because
the necessary engine cannot be created. Please select a
different enjine and/or audio device" Checked Microsoft
help database, but their suggestions didn't work.
Personally it's about time they get a online help or
something. Anyway can you post a responce here, or send
me one at (e-mail address removed) please. Thanks.
