wnidows mail???

everytime i go too create a new email i click on create new, the email box
appears no problem,BUT!!! everytime i click on the paper clip too send an
attachement this is when the problems begin? i find the folder containing my
attachement open the folder (double click) select the attachement THEN!!!
what happens is the whole windows programme shuts down on my i lose
everything prior too sending the email why???
also if i go straight to the folder secect the attachement (right click on
it) and try sending it via email that way it does exactly the same it all
shuts down why??? thankyou chris.
