WindowsXPsp2HomeEdition WindowsMediaPlayer 10.0.0.3646
For the past year, Daily, I go to the WNYC Radio Site. I click on
'Windows Media' and I listen to the station over the computer.
Never a problem. The other day, same routine, only the WMP
didn't play and I received the message:
'You've encountered error message C00D10B5 while using
Windows Media Player. Additional information is not currently
available for this error.'
I'd close and receive the message:
'Windows Media Player has encountered a problem and needs
to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience..
Error signature
AppName: wmplayer.exe AppVer: 10.0.0.3646
ModName: ntdll.dll ModVer: 5.1.2600.2180
Offset: 00011e58

There have been NO CHANGES. I've added NO programs, changed NO
settings.
My browser is NOT set to 'Work Offline'. In WMP, 'download codecs
automatically' IS checked.
The over ride, 'connect to the internet, IS checked.
One day, WMP worked fine..Now it does not! What changed, How Do I Fix
It?

Great. I went to the Microsoft Link you provided and asked my
question. I had already read up on the various solutions which is why
I listed them in my original posting. Although Microsoft WMP encouraged
asking them a question via e mail ( and also encouraged including
specifics ) I received the following e mail response:
"This is an automatic reply to your e-mail message to
(e-mail address removed).." The e mail continued to list links which may or
may not answer my specific problem. Just thought you would like to
know. At least you answered with "I don't know." ( a legitimate
answer and the only answer I received.) Thanks anyway.
