WMP auto play

Hello. I'm ttrying to disable the autoplay for ripping
CD's with the WMP. Here's what I've done so far-> I have
right-clicked the drive, and selected 'take no action'.
This works as long as the WMP is closed. Next-> I've gone
to HKLM\SYSTEM\currentcontrolset\services\cdrom in the
registry and changed the autoplay value to 0 (zero). This
would prevent the WMP from autoplaying while open (which
is what I wanted), but then it wouldn't read the next
disk I put in. To sum up-> What I want to do is be able
to rip a bunch of CD's without the autoplay being
enabled. I would liketo go from ripping one to ripping
the next with little more than exchanging them in and out
of the CD-ROM and clicking 'copy' on the WMP. Thanks much.

The later as you described is the default setting for
wmp9.However if things arent right,open wmp,tools,options
uncheck the box,"auto play as cds are installed",you
might look at the recording settings also, default is
128,higher can be easily changed like to 168 or so.From
there you should be able to install cd after cd w/o
playing any tracks.
