Maybe i'm kind of "late" for this but, is there any posibility to up date my
Windows Movie Maker from 1.1.2427.0 to any other upgrade (no matter if is not
the latest)?

I guess you are running Windows XP?

If you install Windows XP SP2 you
will have Movie Maker 2.1.

If you do not wish to install SP2... you
can download Movie Maker 2.0 from
the following site:
