movie maker update to maker2

Ive been trying to instal the new Movie maker 2 to my
system but after downloading and instaling it when I open
Window movie maker I still get version 1.1.2427.0
copyright 2000-2001. how do I get to apply the new
version 2.0.3312.0, it does not want to install over it.

I have Movie Maker and it is Version 5.something. Do you
think Movie Maker 2 is not an upgrade but a new program
entirely?
I don't know this for a fact but it is a hunch.
