How do you know if you have Movie Maker 2 installed? The title on the Icon is Movie Maker but in "About Windows Movie Maker" it says Microsoft Windows Movie Maker, Version 5.1, Copyright 1981-2001, Windows Movie Maker Version 2.0.3312.0.

Hi Rich

You mentioned on your posting that Kevin has Movie maker
2 installed. I
also checked my movie maker and check mine and this is
whats under
about windows movie maker

Ver 5.1 ( Build 2600.xpsp2 .030422-1633: Service pack 1)
Windows Movie Maker Version 2.0.3312.0

But the icon never changed to reflect that its now ver2
and I dont see
anything different when I go and use it.

What do you think?

I think you did the same thing I originally did. You already had Windows
Movie Maker Version 2 on your system and you updated it with the same
version, so nothing has changed. There's nothing else that indicates the
version that I am aware of.

According to the PapaJohn web site (see link below) if
in "About Windows Movie Maker" it shows Version
2.0.3312.0 then that means Movie Maker 2 is installed.
