Viewing Vista movies on XP

Hi
I can't open movies (.MSWMM), created in Movie Maker 6 on Vista, in Movie
Maker 5.1 on XP. I get wrong version message. Neither can I find an update
for Movie Maker 5.1 for XP. Do you have a possible solution please?

It cannot be done I'm afraid.
You can take a version 2.1 - the version you will have as 5.1 is the windows
version number, into vista, but then you won't get it back to xp again.

If you want to play the Vista projects on your XP
machine...Publish them. This creates a .wmv file
that will play in Windows Movie Maker.

If you want to continue editing the Vista projects
on your XP machine that is not possible. Best bet
would be to copy all source files to your XP machine
and recreate the project in Movie Maker 2.1.
